Photographing a Speeding Bullet

Photographing at the speed of a bullet needs perfect synchronization of the camera and bullet shoot. Using this “projectile sensor” you are able to calculate the velocity of the bullet and trigger the camera the right moment. The sensor has two IR sensors spaced exactly two inches apart. Based on the time it takes the projectile to travel those two inches between the sensors, a velocity for the projectile can be determined.
