CAD/CAM Software

FreeMill

Fully functional free 3-axis mill CAM software with tool path simulation and G-code generation. It doesn't have a CAD modeler, so you'll have to create that data in some other software. It will open the following file formats - their own commerical product VisualMILL, STL, Rhino .3dm, VRML and raw triangle files. Download requires registration.

Mach4

Mach4 is our newest version of CNC motion control software. Mach4 was written from the ground up to be expandable, flexible, and extremely responsive for use with very large files. Mach3 was designed for simple hobby machines and still serves this purpose well. When quality, speed, and the ability to use or learn industrial style controls and methods are what is needed, Mach4 is the correct choice. While there was only one version of Mach3, Mach4 is offered in different versions. Each version of Mach4 is built upon the same core. The architecture of Mach4 is modular and allows for quicker development to expand the already large feature set that Mach4 offers. Mach4 has been in use on Industrial equipment running constantly for over two years.

CopperCAM

CopperCAM is an application for managing isolation engraving, drilling and cutting printed-circuit board prototypes. It does not integrate the direct drive of a CNC milling machine, but simply outputs files that can be loaded and used by external driver software, or data to be sent to the machine.

Ucancam

Ucancam V11 Engraving Software is a professional solution to CAD and CAM. It is widely used in such fields as advertisements, exhibition, decoration, artwork, moulds, seal-making, signs, gifts, architectural moulds, wood working, etc.

DeskProto CAM

DeskProto is a 3D CAM program (CAM = Computer Aided Manufacturing). It can import STL files from any 3D CAD program, calculate CNC toolpaths and then write NC program files for any brand of CNC milling machine, 3-axis, 4-axis or 5-axis. DeskProto is used by designers for prototypes, jewelers for wax models, artists for sculptures, medics for prostheses, moldmakers, woodworkers, teachers, students, hobbyists, and many more.
