Hi, Please can any 1 advise me what is the better option to use in an Traction inverter.

IGBT or Thyristor.


As a general option.

Make a technical comparison of the use of Thyristor vs IGBT in a traction inverter with a specification of:

- 1.4MWatt

- 12 Thyristor configuration

This is wat i have to do can you advice me now plzzzz

Good lord, that's a lot of power!  I'd strongly suggest professional training before even considering meddling with that much juice.
