Hi,
Attached is the configuration for the subject. Here are the datasheet values:
IF = 2A
PT = 21W
VF = 9.07V @I=20A

Please advise on what zener diode I can use for this.

Thanks,
Law

Attached is the datasheet for the circuit I am talking about.  I just want to know how they were able to determine the values for the boost inverse diode (diode clamp).

Thanks,

In order to help you, we need a full schematic of your intended application.

I have read the datasheet.

It's not a complete working inverter. It needs other components to make it work. You can't just wire it up and expect it to work. We need the complete circuit to help.

I just want to know what is the significance of each of the parts is because when i looked up the datasheet, i can't understand how they were able to come up with the values for the boost inverse diodes.  Looking at it, it is a zener clamp.  Now, I am assuming that the specified voltage drop in the datasheet is the series combination of the FWD forward voltage drop and the zener voltage of the series zener diode.  The purpose of this is that I want to identify what particular diodes are used in this.  Would it work if I replace the zener with a TVS diode? or is it a TVS diode right from the start and my assumptions are incorrect?
