Hi I am new to this and I need lots of help.

I am building a model truck with a fairground ride (scale 1:24), which I plan to place lots of LEDs on. (approx 600 - 1000)
I am quite good at these things but this will be a very tricky one coz of the qty of LEDs and what I would like them to achive.

Please see file attached as I thaught this would be a starting point for the control of the lights.

Please see link below - so you can see what I am trying to achive.

I am a novice as I said so please use basic terms otherwise I will be  Huh

Any advice will be taken onboard.

I hope some one can help me.

Seams fairly simple to me. Connect the LEDs in strings of as many as the power supply voltage will allow, each with its own series resistor and use a power MOSFET to switch each bank of LEDs.

I do not answer private messages asking for help because no one else can: benefit from advice I may give or correct me if I'm wrong.

Please ask on the open forum if you have a question: if I know the answer, I'll be happy to help.

How long to you want it to last for? You don't have large enough batteries to light that many LEDs for more than a couple of minutes at best.
