I am new here and new as a hobbyist. I noticed a 1-50v 2a bench supply that was listed by hamed-iranmehr that sounded interesting. However I would like +/- outputs. As I said I am new and  have no particular need for this, I would just like to build it. I just  finished a lower volt unit, 18v out, and would like to try a more difficult one. Any schematics for something like this? Thanks

The designs for a single polarity and dual polarity supply are basically the same. The rectifiers are opposite in polarity and the voltage regulators are different. The electrolytic capacitors must have the right polarity.

Two positive power supplys hooked together the right way work out to one power supply with +/- & gnd.
The trick acording to Electronics For Dummies and or The Idiots guide to electronics is int the way the binding posts are hooked together so two Identicle 1 to 50vdc power supplys become +1 to +50vdc/-1 to -50vdc and circuit common. Make voltages as close as possible and amperage as close as possible and your circuit will just be doubled then jumpers together inside the box to three outputs. Yellow/Black/Red. I can supply the rough drawing to check out if you desire.
