Need some help about using a PIC12F683 as a switch
« on: April 12, 2013, 04:40:10 AM »
Hey there EL!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm looking for a way to use a PIC12683 to take an input from a momentary tact button and then switch an output between open and GND when the tact is pressed.

I'd also like a second output to flash an led for 4 seconds after the tact is pressed.

I had MPlab and have coded a few things in it, but my coding skill is basic.
I lost it about 2 weeks ago when my HDD crashed, but I'll re-install it soon.

I'm 100% certain that this can be done with this chip and I'm sure it would be a piece of cake for someone who is experienced to figure it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou,
Don
