are there equivalent transistors for SL100 and BC158A? any help is greatly appreciated.

anyone have any suggestion on the equivalent/substitute for the transistors of SL100 and BC158A? or anything in general on how to find a replacement for the transistors?

Just about any little transistor will work in that simple circuit.
I would use a 2N3906 to replace the BC158A, and a 2N3904 to replace the SL100.
The American transistors have a reversed pins layout from the Euopean transistors. Grin

Well, i just came in this forum,,, could any one help me to find a substitute for the SL100, the circuit its a little complex   (An Oscilloscope) and i dont know if that one is the only one that fits in that ciucuit.

welcome

BC158A cPNP transistorv an be substituted by 2n2907A taking care of the pin differences

SL100 is a medium power device, and if from india, you get CL100, BEL100N

otherwise, you may perhpas try BD115

Thank You So much: mvs sarma.. that would be very helpfull. by the way.. i´m making an oscilloscope, i have a basic ciucuit that i´m tring to build.. but, do you or some one know a PC oscilloscope that can be functional...??
