It seems an experimental spam filter of mine has been running riot on my P.C. and other users of the forums systems

For which i am extremely sorry.

This filter has now been dissabled and a nice freeware filter has been employed.

Explaination:-
I was recieving 600+ spams a week so i set my outlook express inbox assistant to reply to all messages with this email :-

DUE TO SPAM BEING DELIVERED TO MY MAILBOX..!! AND YOU HAVE SENT ME A MESSAGE.. PLEASE RESEND YOUR EMAIL WITH "GENUINE" IN THE SUBJECT BOX.. THANKS . Richard Stansall. (OTHERWISE THE EMAIL WILL BE DELETED)

THIS IS MY CHEAP EXPERIMENTAL SPAM FILTER... IT IS ONLY A BETA VERSION AND FORSEEN PROBLEMS WOULD BE THAT YOU WILL GET THIS EMAIL EVEN IF YOU HAVE WROTE "GENUINE" IN THE SUBJECT BOX AND RESENT IT.. SORRY ABOUT THIS TO MY REAL EMAILERS..

IF YOU ARE A SPAM SENDER RECIEVING THIS EMAIL AND YOU ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE YOUR EMAIL SUBJECT TO "GENUINE" THEN PLEASE THINK ABOUT THIS... 600+ SPAMS A WEEK IS RIDICULOUS.!!!     I HAVE REAL MAIL TO READ.

I DON'T HAVE ANY ERECTION PROBLEMS,

I HAVE NO NEED FOR PORN THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR.

I DON'T KNOW A WOMAN CALLED "CANDY" WHO'S JUST SET UP A
WEBCAM AND WANTS ME TO HAVE A "LOOK".

I DON'T WANT ANY PRESCRIPTIONS FOR ANYTHING.

I DON'T WANT A GOVERNMENT BANNED CD.

I DON'T REQUIRE A MORTGAGE EXCEPT FOR ONE THAT IV'E
GENUINELY APPLIED FOR,

I DON'T WANT LIFE INSURANCE, HOUSE INSURANCE, LEG, ARM, TORSO, HEAD, HIP, FOOT OR HAIR LOSS INSURANCE!

ALL I WANT IS EMAILS FROM FRIENDS, RELATIVES, MY BANK, AND STUFF I NEED WITHOUT FILTERING THROUGH THIS NEEDLESS TRIPE!!

Electrodoc,
It is wrong to reply to Spam even if it is to tell them to stop bugging you. Whenever you reply to Spam it tells them that your mail-box is real and that you are interested. They mark your mail-box as a VIP and sell its address to all other Spammers. Don't let them make any points or cash this way.
6 months ago I was getting 20 Spams per day. I only have about 5 words in my OE blocker such as meds, stocks, etc. and now I get only a few Spams per week, including those that are blocked. They don't bother with me because I never reply.
I'm glad that I didn't send you any e-mail.
