  1. Before battery charger ICs were invented, circuits were very complicated. The cheap new ICs protect you and the battery and are fairly simple to use. ;D Hi Audioguru I want to use a small rechargeable battery in l.e.d.-torch. Capacity say 3.6v,60mAh. Which one is good? NiCd, NiMh, LedAcid or Li-Io? Can u suggest me a charger ckt or atleast charger IC for that? Aakaash
  2. Dear Ante A pair of Phase & Nutral wires come from street-polls to apartment and then all the homes in apartment get connected in parallal from that pair. Aakaash
  3. From many days i have a question in mind . When we use an Inverter in home , why does the voltage of inverter NOT go in neibour's home since Electricity-Board's wires are connected to all homes ? Aakaash

  5. So it is possible to get a nice shock from a 1.5v source, if the current is strong enough. Yevjeni No, from 1.5v human wont get shock; coz body-resistance is high enogh compared to 1.5v to produce that much current accrding to ohm's law. Aakaash India
  6. You might find this useful: http://www.electronics-lab.com/forum/index.php?topic=4523.0 Hi Ante Y do u make me read all this theory from 12th standard to B.E. final? Tell me conclusion. Aakaash
  7. hi aakash! the topic has remained same nd we are now discussing the amount of voltage u need in case there is no direct connection between u and ground. Hi Pratik In direct touch to ground also "amount of shock " is decided by many things like if ur hand is wet , the resistance of skin decreases n more current flows thru ur body n u get life-spoiling shock. This body resistance varies person to person. Some hav xcptnal high so they can easily handle live-wire!! But normally few milliAmps can damage u severly. So its not the voltage but body-resi to decide. So in case of open ckt (not touching grnd) along with body resi , wet or dryness of body , humidity of air , wetness of ground , etc r also imp along with high volt to make flow those killing few milliAmps thru ur body after breaking high resi of open air inbetween. 8. modified by correcting spelling mistakes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi everybody May i kno if we give sqare wave input to transformer what does it give at o/p ; a squrewave or pulses (like derivative of square)? According to theory the o/p emf shud generate only by d/dt of i/p flux. And in squ-wave input is constant except the edges of square wave. So there shud not be any o/p emf for this constant voltage part of i/p squ-wave. Then how come we get a squ-wave o/p? Aakaash

  10. Hi Shekhar i joined this room today only and read it n felt ur basic qu is remained unanswered. Coz u forgot the basics of current flow. The nutral n grnd wire have nothing to do with shock. If u hold live (phase) wire in hand the current will flow thru ur body to ground and u r bound to get good shock ;D . Aakaash
  11. Yes, We have a circuit for running CFL from 12 V, it costs Rs.150, Hello, Prof.Nura100, Or just give me miss call on (0)98220 55016 or mail me on [email protected] . Aakaash
  12. [Yes, We have a circuit for running CFL from 12 V, it costs Rs.150, ] Hi, Prof.Nura100 Thanx for reply. Plz give me ur email id or preferably mobile nmbr. I hv cn such ckts in electrcl shops ; bt i wnto discuss with u abt it also. Aakaash
  13. Hi, I want to built a ckt to drive CFL directly from battery. Can anybody yell me something abt it ? Does it need pure sine wave or not? Ckt diagram? AAKAASH
  14. Hi everybody for better life of battery is it necessary to blink the led instead of constant glow? at what frequency? Why? If led is blinked at high frquency so that it will appear constant ; will the battery life affect? how much compared to low frequency? Aakaash
  15. Hello Audioguru i came across led lamp dicussion. May i get the ckt diagram? I want to built led lamp. Aakaash
