i am looking for something pretty small (the total size of the circuit might be about the size of a D cell (excluding battery). I once saw a gas grill ignitor that ran off a single AA battery but never got the chance to take it apart to see how it worked. I imagine it has some kinda of DC to AC converter which it then passed through a transformer. Any suggestions?

I am working on a project where i need to ignite propane gas. I am trying to come up with a circuit that will produce a tiny spark across two wires. I want the circuit to be powered by a small battery (AAA,AA,9V) and as small as possible...any suggestions?

Hi, I am matt and I'm an eletrical engineering student who is new to this forums...I was wonder if you had any recomendations about getting a modest size piece of flash memory (~16mb) for experimenting with. Are there any good manufactures out there that offer samples at this size? Matt
