hi can anyone please help me to interface a frequency counter using pic microcontroller16c54 with rs 232 how should i connect it to the pic directly or what all things do i need to consider and does anyone have any idea for the casing for the entire project

hi i really like the design on frequency meter using pic16c54 how should i interface it using rs232 and exactly how should i go about making a casing for it for my college project with heat considerations any help wil be great
