  2. Also check the ones that are hosted here: The Original 2 Phone Link Design This is the updated version of the very first Link circuit that I designed for Silicon Chip magazine here in Oz, back in 1996. It was a bit hardware heavy, (nd therefore expensive for what it would do) having two heavy duty relays and two by two transistor oscillators, for ring tone and ring impulsing. These items have been replaced with optocouplers and an NE 556 dual timer chip, as per the rest of the Link cicuits. It provides for basic communications between two phones only, and there aren't even any numbers to dial. Project Link: http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/telephone/016/index.html The Link Telephone Intercom This is the original version of the Link circuitry and it employs pulse dialling phones, a simple 2 chip circuita for producing service tones and counting dialled pulses. It uses a four wire circuit between each handset and the 'black box' switcher board, and employs 9 volt DC buzzers in place of the bellset, allowing for portability and battery operation. It would be a great introductory project for hobbyists and junior high school students studying the area of telephony and digital electronics. Project Link: http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/telephone/013/index.html The Link A2B+1 Intercom This version is more advanced than the original Link design in that it employs DTMF dialling, a simple relay matrix for internal signalling and external connection to an outside Telco line. This version also uses a simple ring voltage generator that actually rings the electronic ringer inside each phone, and a true 'ring trip' circuit that trips the ring and halts the ringer when the called party's handset is lifted up off hook. Useful for light internal and external phone traffic. Project Link: http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/telephone/014/index.html The Link 4+0 This version is similar to the link A2B+1, except that is is for internal intercom use only. The outside line access circuitry has been removed, and an extra two phone handsets have been added. It has one or two extra possibilities, in that remote control applications can be employed, whereas this would be impractical in the original four phone Link circuit. It uses DTMF dialling, and only uses a two wire circuit between phones and the black box switcher board. ERRORS

The error isn't permanently fixed. That means that the errors may reoccur in future. This is a strange bug that it's effects may not appear always but from time to time.

  10. Here are the latest pictures of the latest electronic circuit box design from pvc pipes, and white plastic cornner moulding. the pvc pipe i used for the base and the plastic cornner moulding i used for the frame work, so when i cut the pannels from pvc pipes, which are cut down the side, then heated over the stove to soften it , before i flatten it out on the floor, then i cut the pannels and secure it with small screws, the inner frame work will conceal the screws so you wont see them. all i need to do before i start the pannel work, is cut flatt strips from the 2 sided plastic cornner moulding, to use as spacers to even the frame work so that the pvc made pannels will fit flatt against the frame work, before i secure the pannels with screws. this circuit box design i used a selleys all fix to give the white plastic cornner moulding a good seal so no gaps will be visible. in this design ive made the plastic cornner moulding frame work for the battery which sits inside it perfectly. the 12 volts high power lead acid cell battery . for the latest high voltage circuit to be installed. by Steven (received via e-mail)

  12. in one picture is the high voltage multiplier circuit inserted, and allso the 20 stage parralell capacitor board. fireing this up resulted in 20 x 630 volts capacitors blowing so i took out the parralell capacitor setup pending on some investigating. so if i reduce the 20 parralell caps down to 16, would be better, as i tested this when i had 16 parralell caps and it allways fires with a bang when i shorted them , in the picture some of the 4 extra caps dident go flatt to the board , and dispite blowing 20 caps which i think was a bit to many to have , the hv multiplier circuit still fires up good , and even charges up my mini 2 cap marx generater, which firesa good loud fat arcs. in one of the pictures i decided to dress up the hand powerd units, pvc houseing with bits of white pvc shaped to fit. by Steven (received throught email)
  13. in these pictures is another version of the parasite zapper and i used this one to get rid of a migrain headache once. and it sure helps ease stomach pains as said by some who ive allowed to try it this circuit, the led comes on when you hold the electrodes so the brighter the led, the better it conducts through your body low voltage at certain frenquency. to kill certain parasites by Steven (received throught email) in these pictures are an electronic parasite zapper i biult from circuits on the net. the two coper pipe electrodes you hold in your hand enables the low voltage at certain frenquency to penetrate your body ,thus killing parasites and other bad organisims, although it may not be exsplained properly, but through exsperimentation of this circuit i accidently found this may be the electronic version for viagara. i once had a tummy pain, thus thinking, i to like my fiancee was getting apendicitis so i tested it out only to get the unexspected results, but it sure got rid of the tummy pain, and when you hold the electrodes you can tell its working ok as it interfears with the radio slightly this circuit here was an inprovised circuit , the small high voltage circuit i got out of my old astra umax 6005 or s computer scanner. the simple job of wireing it up allows mini arcs to be outputed through the attached probes. i used this circuit to get rid of an irritateing , rash on my wrist as i scratched it more, the more it anoyed me so i used this mini arc generator to get rid of it, so i held one electrode in my hand and the other i brushed it in a circle around the erea of the itch and the tiny arc burns a painless circle around the erea of the rash , i then went over the erea inside the circle. the itch went within 4 miniutes, the erea of skin in the circle , over a few short days formed into a dry spot and peeled away then healed, this is a good example of useing electric mini arcs to heal skin complaints.
  14. Using, a section of pvc pipe about the length of the ignition coil can. the pvc is cut down one side, then heated over a stove flame till its soft, then flatten it out on the floor with your shoes then reheat it till its soft again, over the stove flame, then with your hands, if you like to wear gloves, wrap the soft pvc around the ignition coil can , and bend out the ends, then hold it in position till the pvc cools and goes hard, then useing a saw or in my case a high speed mini drill and a pencil , mark out or draw out the section you need to cut out then drill holes along the lines you mark, or you can cut down each side with the saw then drill out the end section. then with a high speed mini drill with a small barrel sander sand the the section you cut the pvc bit out with and round off the corners, Then drill your holes where the screws go through to hold the coil holder in tight towards the coil body, for those biulding ignition coil driver circuits , its handy makeing your own non conducting pvc , ignition coil holder. and if yous follow my posts youll see other things made from pvc pipes includeing circuit boxs flyfack transformer holders , and capacitor holder as featured on the back of one of my hgih voltage circuit boxes houseing a flyback driver circuit. in my posts to the hoigh voltage stuff section. by Steven (received throught email)
  15. In this picture a slightly modified ignition pionts from a car i used to trigger a buzzer, first remove the spring clip that is attached to the points arm and body then solder, an ignition coil terminal to the top and bend part of it towards the barrel part of the arm now solder a thin twisted wire strand to the bottom of the points arm and that wire run it to the negative pin or terminal of a buzzer , then from the positive of the buzzer run a wire to the battery positive. Now the body where the points arm sits on, fix a wire to it then run the wire to the battery negative now this is set up so that when the assemble is moved the swing points arm swings from its closed position till it contacts the swinging arm body this is where the terminal from an ignition coil is solderd to and a blob of solder is there to give contact allso. the buzzer is then triggerd, it is easy to modify a set of points from a car distribiutor to act as a movement switch to trigger anything once its moved, the yellow wire that is attached under the points body runs to the battery by Steven

  18. here are the resisters id like to have identified and like to know if they are 10 or 20m by Steven (received throught email)
  19. although not finished yet this more compact hand powerd generator , will have 2 circuit boards inside it, as shown in one of the pictures, ones a high voltage multiplier circuit to multiply the output ac voltage from the microwave oven motor, the other cirvcuit board when finished is the full length parralell capacitor stack , so when the boards are filled to the end these will be inserted and fixed into the pvc pipe houseing, upside down and above each other, the parralell capacitor stack has a 1/2watt 1m bleeder resister to charge it up so at 630 volts the current will be higher. on the motor turn peace i fashioned a pvc lever to make turning more easyer , the front end of the pvc pipe is flared out to an oval shape to make more space. inside the pvc body are 4 pvc quarter sections fixed in place and modified to holde the long component boards, the unfinished parralell capacitor stack i tested before , chargeing it up from another high voltage multiplier circuit powerd by another hand powerd generator , and it sure works good . by Steven (received throught email)
  20. in these pictures is the lates generator , all installed into a pvc pipe with leg struts, one end of the pvc pipe at the top i used 2 screws for the output terminals , and at the top front end where i havent seald it yet, is the piezio push button ignitor i salvaged from our gas stove portable hand held lighter. the inside of the pvc pipe body , is 2 quarter circle pvc sections to sit the short high voltage multiplier circuit on , of which i tacked into position with hot glue, useing a bostic glue gun. this handy unit i just repeatedly push the black piezio ignitor , for about 12 clicks or more, thats the ignitor you push till it clicks and the output from it is multiplied by the hv multiplier circuit and the charge stays there untill i discharge it . i can use the small arcs from this to light the gas stove . when matches aint around to use. when i put my fingers across the output screws, after ive pushed the ignitor a number of times it sure puts out a reasonable electric shock. sometimes prity awsome by Steven (received throught email)
  21. in these pictures i used a small hv multiplier circuit that consists of 3kv ceramic capacitors and 1n4007 1kv diodes, and the small black thing is a push button piezio electric ignitor from a portable gas oven electric ignitor. so in this circuit setup i hold the piezio electric ignitor in my right hand and repeatedly press it about 12 times or more. the output ac from the ignitor is multiplied by the voltage multiplier circuit. the hv ceramic capacitors hold enougth voltage to give you a better shock than you would get from the arcs of the pizeo ignitor, alone. by Steven (received throught email)
  22. In these pictures of a second, hand powerd high voltage output generator. i put my mini marx generator . between the output terminals, each high voltage ceramic capacitor is rated at 6 thousand volts, and the 1m resister is 1/2 watts. every few half rotations of the turn peace on the microwave oven motor/ generator charges up the high voltage multiplier inside the pvc pipe, houseing then, this output via the 1m resistor ,, charges up the mini marx then it fires off a fat reasonably loud arc between the gap. by Steven (received throught email)
