  1. In one of their page (pdf) i found white with the part number : 'MV8W0O' http://www.fairchildsemi.com/collateral/psg04_opto.pdf#page=28
  2. Hi Zeppelin Thanks a lot. I never took the resistance into calculation. I just divided the voltages and went on till the last 2k resistor. The correct value is 9 volts.
  3. Hello AG What was the part number you gave ?
  4. People can try to make out the model number of ur stereo if u can post the picture of it .
  5. will i be able to get LED's which are similar to each other, i mean from big branded manufacturers ? something like led's from a batch ?
  6. hi Zeppelin According to the voltage divider concept ( i used the software "resistor calculator" on the site ) and found it to be 16volts at the last 2k resistor. Am i right ? i'm not so sure!!
  7. Do you have the part number to order for the led's made by fairchild . What price you bought it for ?
  8. Hello I've been reading the book of malvino ( electronic principles ) 3rd edition . I have a doubt and its eating up my head . Please help me to go further . Here is what it says THEVENIN
  9. No AG, its a chineese make.
  10. Hi AG In my previous LED project 2 LED's blew off from in between the string , I think that the quality of the LED is poor . What do u think ? . I just replaced them .
  11. How much could this voltage be ?
  12. Hi AG Should I use any protection for the transformer from AC mains voltage fluctuations or will that effect the circuit ?
  13. Hello AG, Thanks for advice . I'll screw it up with some space in between (using lingthier screws). What wire shall i use for the led(+&-) I have used one now with 7 strands and 0.2mmthickness for each strand (here we call it 7.2 wire) .
  14. Hi Its working at my friends place .
  15. I spelled it wrong . It was hylam instead of hylem . Here is a pic of switches and a socket fixed on a hylam board .
  16. Hi AG It is used to fix switches and sockets on them. Brown colour on the back and white in the front made by Anchor . I will try to send a pic .
  17. hello AG, I bought a new one (luxion 1 star) The Voltage across the led is exactly 3 volts with the regulator circuit . I have mounted it on to a heat sink(aluminium) of size 57mmx57mm square with 3mm thickness( i cut it myself ) and that is now having heat sinking . I want to screw the heatsink on a hylem sheet of thickness 3mm and length 100x100mm to screw it up again on the roof. Will the hylem sheet get damaged because of heat ? the tempetature on the heatsink just below and opposite to the led is 50 degree centigrade .
  18. I'm sure there is no spare slot ( its an old system ) . I never thought of this idea . I will let u know tomorrow .
  19. Hello ESP Actually I have connected the printer to it . My printer prints its test page but nothing from the comp . The computer also displays its printing, But the printer prints nothing. I have bought a new one but still have the old mother board. My local hardware fellow told me to change the mother board or get it fixed which would cost me almost 75% of the new one and so i went for a new one . If suggessions are given from the community i would like to work on that personally . My bios settings are right .
  20. Hello AG What is lumens and CCT with respect to LED ?
  21. Hi AG I have seen in the projects Q/A form, your topic on the mood lamp where in the last a heat sink has been suggested for the LED. Should we use a heat transfer paste (white colour) in b/w the LED and the heatsink ?
  22. Hi AG Actually I made the circuit on bread board and by mistake i connected the capacitor(1000/25)in reverse but nothing happened to it . Was it supposed to blast ? But it was almost hot by the time i came to know my mistake and switched it off .
  23. Hi AG So i can use 1000uF capacitor only !!!?
  24. Hi AG What will be the input capacitor value after the bridge rectifier ?. For one LED the value i put was 1000uF when the transformer o/p voltage was 9 volts .
  25. Hi shaim I feel u need to post your queries on the "SERVICE MANUELS" forum .
