hi all long time no see :) I have a question about making a automatic open and close latch ... well it doesnt really have to be automatic open ... but close.... yes since gravity can be used to open .... let me show you an exaple of what I need .. 0........... ............0 pertend that the zeros are the latches ..... and the dots are the panels I want open ... well if I hit a button I want the pannels to become loose and fall to relese anything that may be inside or on top of the pannels ....... now once the pannels are like sooooo . 0 0 | | | | | | | | I need a way for them to close and lock into position automaticly with a touch of a button...... is there something out there I can just buy?? .... it seems so simple .... but yet its so hard ..... well maybe not for one of you guys but for me its mind boggling :) so a point to the right direction would be great thanks velosity

it would be kinda cool to be voice reconized by only me but its probly easyer if it understands anyones voice .... because my brothers cell phone can understand my voice and his and my friends :) still have to learn more about this kinda technology but thats a great idea ..... having it in your car like night rider right :)

ok im real new to electronics and programing if you would find the stupides person in these filds it would probly be me :) heheh well I want to build somthing and I problly will never get it done.... inless you all help so please take some time to help a poor electronics newbie to his dream :) SUPER COMPUTER FETURES: voice programed for diffrent functions to do......EXAMPLE: say:computer,light on. function:light go on. .......................................... controlls sensory equipment like temputure sensors, humidity sensors. ........................................ very smart and interactive computer ......... EXAMPLE: say:computer, lights on computer:ok, doing that now function:lights go on. computer:lights are on. EXAMPLE2: computer:the temputure is really high.... would you like me to lower it?? say:yes that would be great function:lowers temputure 7 degrees down computer:temputure is now <what ever temputure is> EXAMPLE3: say:computer whats the temputure ?? or computer what time is it ??? function:reads the sensorry equipment. computer:it is 86 degrees or it is 6:00pm ........................................ can control the eviorment .......EXAMPLE: say:computer make temeture 86 degrees computer:Ok velosity function:turns on heater to desired temputure and keeps it that degrees by using the sensory equipment . computer:it is now 86 degrees ................................................ controls all the power in the room . EXAMPLE: lights, heater, air conditioner, PC, humidyfyer, stereo, TV, xbox, fans, and anything that is electracol in the room . ............................................................. BULIDING well this is where I need your help I can say ill probly be using the same technology that you see in some cell phones .....EXAMPLE: say:velosity cell phone then dials out to velosity atomaticly.... but instead of dialing out it would do another function that I program it to do :) SOFTWARE: well we all know that this computer will need some kind of software to understand what Im saying and to be some what smart on its own :) I would have to program all the voices for each function ....... program the voice of the computer and what it would say after it does each function........... but.... we would have to program it so it would be smart enough to say somthing diffrent and mix it up sometimes like A.I there is probly more but I cant think of anything right now :) HARDWARE: Im sure that this computer is going to need a CPU some ram and rom...... pritty much everything thats in a normal P.C exept a video card........ I want the first proto type to be simple maybe next future upgrades :) we are probly going to need a big power box where everything is contolled too ..... and last but not least a hole lot of electronic componits including the VOX I.C ( not sure if thats it :) ) ......................................... well thats pitty much everything .... I would like some advice on pritty much everything for example: how would I program the software ??? what languge would be used ???? what materials would I need ?? how would anyone acually build this thing lol I really have no clue how.... just know what I want :) and please talk like if I where a 11 year old kid cause remember ... Im the stupidest person in this field :) lol if anyone can redirect me to some intresting reading material about programing software for electronics ...... that would be asome too hope you all can help and hope to ear from you soon......... tnx ciao velosity

Basic FM Transmitter CHECK ATTACHMENT Notes: Transmitter designed for FM broadcast band, 2 meters, and other VHF bands by changing values of C5 and L1. values given will set transmitter somewhere in FM Broadcast band. L1 is 4 turns of #20 enameled wire (airwound) 1/4 inch diameter, 5mm long and center tapped. Microphone is Electret type. Antenna is 18 inches of any wire. Try to keep all leads as short as possible to prevent stray capacitance. Range of transmitter should be several hundred yards. .............................................................................................................
