Hi audioguru! do we require a high or low beta for a high gain amplifier? How do we chose beta for a given application? ;D
-
then u might have to study the pin assignment diagram and perhaps the datasheet .u may have to buy an explanatary book for it from the market if u have not got one along with it. I have not worked on zilog processors i use Intel and sometimes Atmel. Although pin assignments are only a little different. ;D

many articles here say the same thing. controller is a full PC u can use all its features. for any control application just like a stepper motor or even an induction motor. ;D

conversion from miliohms to voltage circuits
prateeksikka replied to jesswan's topic in Electronics chit chat
hi there! i guess audioguru's answer is 100% correct. but milliohms?where do u come across such low value resistance? audioguru, i have seen commercially available resistance minimum of 1 ohm.what about u? ;D -
hi kevin! we use negative feedback through an emitter resistor just to stabilize the gain and make the amplifier much more linear. and to increase the range of i/p signal. ;D hi audioguru! do we have any disadvantage of a transistor with 2000 value of beta as amplifier or is it an excellent amplifier?what do u think? ::)
-
hi audioguru! here we reach a conflict ,for a good amplifier we need a low Re (emitter res) as u said and at the same time low Re causes the transistor to limit the i/p signal below a certain value. higher value of Re enables us to feed a gignal more than say 1 V. ;D

hi audioguru! i feel that it is the value of beta which is responsible for determining the gain of the transistor. It is its high value which makes it a good amplifier. ;D

hi harikannan! What is the application for which u are building this machine? SYSTEM INTEGRATION!
-
hi there mrohler! Both of 80386 and 80486 are microprocessors. U can use them both for any control application u can think of. ;D
-
hi digital! u r yourself digital ! anyway for mod 5 counter u need 5 t states and 3 JK flip flops. Do u need a definite pattern to be followed while counting like from 0 to 4 or something like that ? ;D
-
using a multimeter but with some jiggling u can come to know about the terminals base, emitter ,collector.Emitter conducts most heavily.(Q2) It is the base-emitter voltage which drives the transistor into saturation and makes the heavy current to flow from collector to emitter.(Q3) It is the beta and internal mechanism of conduction in a transistor the answer to the first question.

hi lucky! i dont know about your country ,the mobile revolution is still on,and i would go for communication especially mobile and satellites. Microelectronics deals with the miniaturizing world and is a good subject too. power and control are basically electrical subjects. Boring for me! ;D ;D ;D

does anyone know their real names?

hi kevin! At any instant the net voltage across load is the phasor sum of three voltages. The resulting waveform is much smoother. Thats 3 phase! better than 1 phase! ;D ;D ;D

hi audioguru! we can no doubt have low i/p ang high o/p impedance but what about matching? Do we desire high or low i/p impedance for a device?
-
hi guys! On my way on a national highway in India,I again saw those balloon like things on the high voltage transmission lines.I am confused! What are they? :(
-
hi audioguru! Isnt it true what i said?I have read and in fact seen 3 phase motors running much more smmothely! ;D pistons? :o
-
hi there! Three phase and in general multiphase systems are generally prefered to ensure the smoothness by which load runs especially a motor.Knocking is generally less of a problem in 3 phase motors than 1 phase motors.

Some TVs also use some materials to enable the environment in which electrons move just before striking phosphorus on the screen. 8)

Old pentium 1 processor
prateeksikka replied to hamoodyjamal's topic in Electronic Projects Design/Ideas
No doubt u can use it as a controller if u are familiar with the purpose of all the pins and their functions. Study about its ports and pins. In fact PC is a controller ,I used one one of its ports called parallel port to control my LCD and daily i use it for my printer! ;D ;D ;D -
hi there! by default u have 00 data at all locations in a ROM.So no LED had glown when u just give supply. When u make a data pin high u write 1 at some place which is reflected onto the data line so an LED had glown! in third case i guess the address and data lines may be multiplexed when u addressed a particular location, that particular data came onto the data bus and made the LED glow! good work buddy! keep it up!
-
a part of your project would be to test if this ROM is ok. write data say FF into all locations of ROM through a parallel port interface like LAB TOOL 48. and retrieve the data back .Can u write some code in C or assembly language or even VB? ;D
-
its feebly famous here in india , we prefer to use Yahoo Messenger here ;D
-
proview 32 is such a program using this kit u can program almost any controller and that too writing the code in C purely! ;D
-
this project mainly requires u to have a good hand one one programming language good luck! ;D
