Hi M. Check with cole parmer they sell many types of probes at different prices it will be the largest expense of your project You can also bid on probes at Labx.com but be careful many sellers take your money but dont send the product. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=4496&Ntt=ph%20probes&Ntk=All&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Np=1&N=2004&Nty=1 Check this site for info concerning ph probes http://www.omega.com/techref/ph-3.html Here is another very good site http://wind.prohosting.com/prakaash/ph/ph.htm Please let me know how your project turns out :) -

You could get tube like that from a machine shop or mill supply store reamers and drills come in tubes like that you could cut a piece of strip board the size you need you can buy it from mouser futurlec or digi-key -
This is what I refer to when I say Stipboard Thanks guys

As you have stated with disposable electronic products and the global economy such as it is I would think one would need to be exceptional to get ahead in the electronics field probably better just to have it as a hobby I hope I'm not being too pessimistic about this

Hi Philipf I made both the stethoscopes the one with the 5 741 op-amps doesnt work at all but the stehoscope2 by Audioguru works really well. I took it to class and all the students liked it. It is much easier to listen to a heart beat than with an accoustic stethoscope

Hi Herman I hope you don't mean that you have to marry her to get a schematic!!! LOL ;D

Are there anywhere to request free photovoltaic cell????
Steve_hi replied to bbmak's topic in Datasheet/Parts requests
Very little in life is free you will have to work at getting them. A company letter head and a projected sales volume will probably get them interested in giving you some samples but your presentation will have to look professional. Good luck ;) http://www.photowatt.com Send Email to Photowatt International S.A. http://www.npowercanada.com Send Email to Npower Energies http://www.china-solarpower.com/sdp/110301/4/main-1000013.html Send Email to Shenzhen Xinhonghua Solar-Energy Co., Ltd (Representative:Angel) -
Water absorbs infrared light so water will decrease the brightness of the infrared signal.
-
If all you want to do is test them then just use a 12v car battery you will not have to do anything
-
Thank you very much for the help Audioguru I will order the parts this weekend and should have them in about 3 weeks from futurlec they have very good prices but slower than the second coming. bye
-
Is there a new schematic with a parts list for an improved version?
-
Hi Audioguru I,m going to make the faulty one first and get you to walk me through the tests of it then after it fries I'll make it properly.......................I hope ;)
-
Hi guys This is a very entertaining thread, so much so that I, as a beginner will now try to make this power supply I hope I can get past putting the first part on a strip board keep the debate going gentlemen it's better than T.V ;D

Hi I made an ECG and when I do a continuity test for the positive battery terminal and the # 8 pins of the TL072's i have continuity, but not on the center tap of the 2 9 v batteries, and when I check for continuity of the negative terminal and the number 4 pins of the op amps ihave continuity but I also have continuity with the negatve battery and the center tap of the 2 batteries, is that supposed to be like that is ground and negative the same?
