  1. ive seen a few postings for a 4 watt fm transmitter but the schematic is calling for a 12-16 volt supply. for class i have to design a narrowband fm transmitter and am trying to get about the same amount of power out or at least a 2 watt. restrictions are i must use a 9volt battery, + and - 3khz BW. the circuit must be stable so use of a crystal is a necessity. for the battery i am going to use a 9vlt nickel metal hydride or at least i think thats how its said. can anyone help with a schematic.
  2. looked on google and found a datasheet with physical specs but i need specs for the pinouts of the connectors on the side of it. any help would be appreciated. controller reference would be helpfull too.
  3. thanks ante thats more like what i was looking for. i've just been too lazy to design the stuff myself. thanks again
  4. anyone got a schematic for turning an oscope into a tv using the 2 channels in xy mode
  5. taking a transistor in a bridge amplifier and tapping at the collector would produce a phase shift is that what ur looking for?
  6. just use a frequency counter chip such as a ICM7224 or its led driving counterpart
  7. you can stack 7812 or lm317 for more current. there are regulated powers supplies on this site showing this that could produce up to 4A if necesary
  8. 2n3904s are nice but somewhat expensive compared to various others. just get datasheets most of the replacements you can find at your local radioshack.

reading these replies i dont see how some people can be called electronic gods. yes a camera could work to produce a desired pulse but the power would be so minimal you probably wouldnt affect anything. youd have to amplify the power alot more than what comes out of that little thing. in the words of tim taylor "more power." reference microwave guns
  10. dont have any schematics right off hand on this computer since im not at home but if you like using chips then a NE565 which is a pll chip can also be configured to be used as ur demodulator. might cut down on a few parts. just do a google search its not that hard to find examples of such schematics.
