  1. Hi again,
It was hard to draw schematic circuit so i took the one that Audioguru did before and made some changes on it  ;D.
When I measured the impedance like it shows in the attachment, I disconnected the amplifier and it was not 4 ohms but i added some resistors in parallel, then it became 4 ohms  8). This was the right side. I measured the left side and did the same thing to get 4 ohms.
*(There is a filter connected to the bass speaker to get low frecuencies)

  2. Is it connected to something that is powered all the time including during starting the engine?

No, it's connencted together with the amplifier and they get the voltage from the (electric lighter, cigarette lighter) which is not always powered. I don't want to connect the audio system directly to the car battery because i might foreget to switch off it, then the battery may be "finito"  ;D.

so is there any hope  ??? ;D
  3. Hi guys
I've built an audio amp. to use in my car. The audio source is a (pc cd-rom) CD-player. They work pretty well together.
I need a memory or something like that to keep what i'm listening to, for example:i'm listening to a song and the car is not started, when i get the car started, the current will be off for a second so i have to start the same song from the begining

  4. Hi Audioguru and Staigen
Thanks for the article, I'll study it first, but I don't think that I will build it acually because my project (which I will do in school) is about audio amplification and the equalizer thing was just an additional idea.  :)
I wonder if Staigen has read our post about the amp  ;D, thanx for wishing me good luck  ;D

by the way, congragulations (Audioguru) for your new car with Pioneer sound system  ;D

    Best Wishes,

  5. Hi Audioguru  :)

Actually I've already connected the speakers with same phase and I hear a very good bass  ;D, I mean if we say, the volume has 10 levels I can hear a great sound (bass & treble are max) from 1 to 8  but the last two levels (when i increase the volume) distortion begins  :( .

Do you think if I put a small fan on the heatsink it will dicrease the distortion.?!
May the heat cause this problem?

Thank you for taking time to answer me  ;)
