Hi
What kind of capacitors ( at the inputs 2&19 and 6&15 ) have to be used in this circuit:
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/039/index.html
Are there for eg. ceramic, tantal ...?? ???
Help please ;D -
Thank you so much Audioguru for the explanation ;D

Hi Audioguru :)
I used 15V DC , 6 ohms impedance and 12 cm diameter (2-way speakers).
Do you think 4 ohms impedace will do better? And what is the typical voltage supply do you think?
I believe you Theory Expert ;D.

Hi
I've built preamp + amp :
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/039/index.html
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/006/index.html
I've coupled them together and they work, but I get very high distortion when I increase the volume (when the bass is full ).
My question is : what can be the cause? Should I use larger speakers?
Thank you all for supporting me ;D -
Hi Audioguru and thank you so much for helping me ;D
I'll build it ;)
Best wishes -
Hi again
What do you think about this curcuit:-
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/039/index.html
Can I couple it with this amp:
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/006/index.html
to control the volume, bass, treble and balance? :)
I was so happy when I hade built this amp and I will be happier to build the control curcuit for it. ;D
Can anyone help me please -
Hi Kevin
your curcuit is really interesting and seems good actually ;).
Can you find a simple solution to my problem about the volume control? :) -
aha , but is there any other way to do that? :(

Hi
I've built this amp:
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/006/index.html
How can I do to lower/ raise the volume? Will I use a potentiometer? 50k ohm maybe?? ???
And you know the amp has two outputs so how can I control the volume by one potentiometer?
Please help ;D
Best wishes

Thank u so much for the full description ;D

Hi
I have built this amplifier
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/006/index.html
It works good actually and I thank you all for the support you gave me. :)
Problem: when I connect it to my car stereo it sounds very very bad so how can it be used as a booster like they mentioned in the explanation in the link up? Maybe I've connected it in wrong way!?
Please tell me how to connect this amp right :)
Thank you and best wishes -
Not yet actually but thanx alot anyway. ;D
-
Thank you ;D , but should I do some changes in the curuit if I chose another IC like you mentioned ( TDA15 52, 57 or 58)? ;D
-
Hi
Is there another IC to use instead of (TDA1554 Two Channel Audio Amp Chip) in this project?http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/006/index.html
Because I can not find this IC in the electronics shop.
I need your help my friends ;) -
Do you have a suitable bass-boost curcuit to add it to the amp? :)
-
Thank you so much Audioguru ;D
-
sorry I don't understand what you mean! ???

Hi
How can I add bass-boost to this amp:
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/006/index.html
:) -
Thank you to answering me :)
-
hi again
I've found this curcuit. what do you think about it? -
Hi
How can I get (+ and - DC voltage from DC voltage source) like a car battery? Is there any converter or something like that?
Can you help me please I'm trying to build my own audio amplifier to add it to my car stereo.

Thanks :)

Hi
Which loudspeakers will be best to use to this circuit (ohm?)?
Will I need to use a heatsink for the IC (LM1036N)?

:) best wishes
Limitation of current !!
in Electronic Projects Design/Ideas
Posted
hi friends :)
I've built an audio amp ( I chose two projects , volume controller and power amp) and they work together pretty good but when I increase the volume (almost max) I hear very bad sound (distorsion). I've used many loudspeakers from the smallest to the largest but it is the same distorsion all the time. ??? :(
So what do you think the problem is? I've heard about "limitation of current" ... ???
here are the projects i've built:
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/039/index.html
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/006/index.html
Please can you suggest something to do... ;D
