  1. I would like to discuss which is the best breadboard for experimentation with electronics circuits before putting the components in PCB. It is very useful to hear opinions from yours experience and work. Personally I use the breadboard from the console of 300-In-1 electronics lab that costs about 60$. I am very sattisfied because except the breadboard, it contains buttons, built-in variable resistors and capacitors , leds and switch.
  2. Hi Johnc, The only solution of your problem that I can think is to purchase the electronics workbench StudentSuite7 (multisim and multiboard) . It is designed for students and has many limitations like only 100 components. Although the price is quite expensive for students(about 80$). An other option is to use your department's laboratory that already has the electronics workbench and do all your homework there if it is allowed by your university department. As far as I know there is no free edition for trial from electronics workbench. Yours Sincerely, Lucas.
  3. I was wondering if I can find a free program with many capabilities that will give me the option to design the schematic and create a pcb. To be honest I have tried many professional programs but they were extremely difficult to use and my needs are not hundrents of components and many layers. I want something simple that I can do my job and to be easy to use. I have found the eagle layout editor, that its lite edition is completely free and have many capabilities. There are some limitations from the full edition but if you want to learn, or to create a simple circuit is perfect. The library has hundreds of components and its usability is great.
