Hello everyone... My dog has a chip! Yes, that's right, it's under the skin between his shoulder blades. The chip is an RFID tag manufactured by a company called AVID. They are for identification. Anyhow.... I want to build a detector circuit to interface with an old laptop computer to open his dog door. I think it would be a cool project but I haven't got a clue how or where to start. Could anyone here set me off in the right direction? Les
