  1. well, sorry mate, most of the rest of the sites i had bookmarked are all down or gone now. hopefully you can get the help you need to persue the project either from here or the link i gave. best of luck to ya. wish i could help more.
  2. godfather, i'll go through my links and weed out the ones that won't help much and post 'em up here when i get a few spare minutes. as far as converting GAME to USB, that's a tricky one for myself, but i'm sure someone around here knows. when i went through and converted my driving force pro, it was already USB, but i upgraded the pots and just broke down and bought a usb board that had all that inputs already on it for about $40. now that i think about it, i probably shoulda tried to make one myself, relatively simple looking. i'll see what i can do tonight about the links. btw, what kind of wheel are you working with?
  3. been quite some time since i've posted here, but i think i may have somethin' for ya. about a year ago i found these forums when looking to build a wheel from scratch (precise movement, force-feedback, etc) and found it to be an excellent resource. Race Sim Central - Hardware and Software i think i have have some more links in my bookmarks folder, but it'll take ma while to find 'em if they're there. hope that, at least, gets you pointed in the right direction.
  4. not a problem, all i have to do is get my friends cam, and i'll spend the night noting all the parts and such. you'll have somethin' to look forward to tomorrow. sorry for the delay
  5. what a coincidence. i just started pulling apart a digital answering machine this morning. looks like someone tried to lay down heavy ammounts of solder on a couple of lifted traces. anyways, the board it's printed on is only single sided. i guess i can probably snap a few mega-high res shots of the pcb and possibly come up with a parts list if you want. it looks like it's missing all of the resistors and diodes, and some of these parts might be hard to get. it's a Southwestern Bell Freedom Phone Digital Answering Machine, model # FA970 (ugly little turquoise sucker). lemme know if you want some help with it
  6. we had a power outtage a few days ago and now my dvd/vcr is dead. it wasn't a surge because everything that was plugged in is fine. it's a sony slv-d300p. i've checked several sites with manuals and such to no avail. the fuse inside is fine as well as the powercord. there's power going to it, but not through it. there's no display and none of the button s work. figures it had to happen while a dvd and vhs tape were in it. any help would be appreciated.
