  1. The transmission solenoids are located just inside the fluid pan. Here is some info for replacing them. It is acually pretty easy.
  2. Arduino is an open-source single-board microcontroller, designed to make the process of using electronics in multidisciplinary projects more accessible. The hardware consists of a simple open hardware design for the Arduino board with an Atmel AVR processor and on-board I/O support. The software consists of a standard programming language and the boot loader that runs on the board. Arduino hardware is programmed using a Wiring-based language (syntax + libraries), similar to C++ with some simplifications and modifications, and a Processing-based IDE.
  3. Nice Post but i think Transmitting binary ones and zeros via IR (infrared) light is not as complicated as it may appear at first glance. Just as radio stations transmit information using radio waves, infrared devices transmit data using the infrared frequencies of the electromagnetic spectrum. Also, just as you need a compatible device to listen to a radio broadcast, you must have a device capable of understanding and translating incoming infrared signals.
