What do you mean both circuits????>? One circuit will do the job.
1 Transistor two resistors and a 47uF capacitor..
Just a push switch not a toggle the timer begins when you let go of the button if you push the button again durring the cycle it resets the timing cycle.

If you would try my first circuit you won't need a 555 at all.
You asked for simple and I gave it to you.
The KISS method applies here.
Almost any NPN Transistor will work aslong as it is able to handle the Amp Draw of your coil
