I have some cool circuits that may interest you so i will make several posts instead of one. Maximum attachment size allowed: 1000 KB That really sucks!!!

The Datasheet for BD708 is also on my Datasheet Website. Free membership Required. http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/ -
Hmm didn't think about that.

Hmm, I think you become light if you break that barrier.

I will look for the original but for now here is the replacement datasheet. NTE 98 or ECG98 http://www.nteinc.com/specs/10to99/pdf/nte98.pdf nte98_2sd711.pdf

Power supply for AMP in CAR
hotwaterwizard replied to nanopoylos's topic in Electronic Projects Design/Ideas
The diodes are for spike protection to prevent the transistors from burning when the field colapses in the transformer windings. If you look at a good circuit involving a relay you will see a protection diode across the coil for this reason. -
Remote Controlled Lawn Mower
hotwaterwizard replied to hotwaterwizard's topic in Electronic Projects Design/Ideas
Mine had a swivel wheel on the back to make it stand up. To control left and right all you had to do is hit the switch and it would put on the break for one wheel. This would turn the lawn mower. If you put on the left break it turns right if you put on the right break it turns left. -

Power supply for AMP in CAR
hotwaterwizard replied to nanopoylos's topic in Electronic Projects Design/Ideas
Zapco Used no MOSFET in their old Power supplies. Here is their Diagram. The problem with this one is it uses PNP and I already have about 150 Transistors 2N3055. The transformer is special made and hard to find. -
Look for any wires that go in to the amplifier. If one shield wire is broken there will be a hum. Also a bad mic will cause a hum. If that does not work then you should look at the capacitors in the power supply section of the amplifier. Also You could spray the controls with some contact cleaner. ( only Use contact cleaner designed for this! If you don't it will ruin the controls for good!)

ORCAD And PS or Post Script Files What are they and what do I do with these type of files? I downloaded a schematic but, I can't view it.

MP I'm almost half way there and catching up to you!

Radio control glow engine 'glow driver'

Exactly what are you doing with this little circuit? I may have an alternate Idea that will do the same job. -
Why make a mountain out of a mole hill just try the easy ones I posted. You can get most of the parts out of an old Transistor Radio or anything that is junk. Free sounds better to me. Or you can even use a Photo Cell.
-
I just don't like anything that is static sensitive. I tried repairing many Amplifiers with MOSFETs and I think they are junk.

This is the same site. Look at the Knowlege Base lots of good stuf there Lower Left. http://www.carstereo.com/

He said he needs a switch not a light controled switch . The answer he gave for #1 is "a switch" That is what I gave. Here is a simple Light Switch.

Remember the old 150L Zapco Amps? They had a seperate PWM in a seperate case. Those Amps sounded Great. And Guess what? They didn't use Mosfets. Why did they stop building Amplifiers out of Discrete Transistirs anyways? I just don't get it. Everyone claims that Mosfet is better than Bipolar. Yea, take a static sesitive device and stick it into a power supply that has stray electro-magnetic fields all around and expect it to work better than something that doesn't need a Static wrist band to replace. How can it be better if just a touch can fry it in a second?
