:)the audio sound of your digital multimeter is the continiuity, you use this continiuity to test for breaks in the tracks and to make sure there is no breaks in the circuit and allso to test the wireing . the continiuity tester is not a component tester, but if you got a audio sound from measureing across the resistor if its on the circuit board, follow the trackwork from each end of the resistor and you may probably find it runs back to the other end of the resistor so all its doing is telling you the track is ok and not broken or open circiuted. if you measureing the resistance of the resistor on the board, disconect one end of the resistor otherwise you will get a false reading , if your measureing voltage in the dc range start at the highest dc setting them work your way down if you aint sure what the voltage is . as for resistance start at the lowest resistance scale and work your way up untill you get a stabilized reading

if you use a bread board ,if its small youll find that your project, depending on the size of it would be pritty compact, so if you buy lots of small bread boards you can conect them together for more space, im doing it and soon or later ill have a large bread board for spaceing my components out with so as to make it easyer , my bread board when i finish collecting all the small ones to conect together will be around 20 inches square or bigger or under that depending on how many small ones i collect to jion together.

when the pressure in the clouds biulds up the exspanding water drops cause an exsplosion and thus lightening is created and on the ground a negative charge biulds up giveing the lightening somewhere to strike if ive got it right

thanks, there is another place here that sells 15kv caps but in bulk i remeberd ringing and arsking about them some time ago so i think it may be dear for me
-
your luckey ive never had 10 or 15 kv caps as the local electronics stores dont have them of that rateing , so with some of my ignition coil drivers i use a high voltage trippler, to tripple the output hv from the ignittion coil, some hv tripplers are larger and black in colour if youve see all my postings includeing the ones i emailed to mixos to upload for me before i lernt how to upload them myself . gooc luck with your circuit let me know how you go and i look forward to seeing it when you post the details

go to page 3 in the high voltage stuff section look at flyback driver schematic. if you want to measure the high voltage output on a digital multimeter look at high voltage resistor devider. and if you dont have a flyback transformer with a biult in high voltage trippler to give bigger longer arcs use a high voltage trippler, to the flyback you can get them separate . or you can biuld the simple ignition coil driver circuit that uses an ignition coil and you can use the separate flyback high voltagew trippler to that to get high voltage dc arcs to
-
look carefully through the high voltage section youll find flyback driver circuit it uses a 25k pot and 10k potentiometer or variable resistor, dont worry if you cant find trimpots as i dont use them i use potentiometer s, the flyback driver circuit i used was oriiginally used in the vortex canon circuit i collected from the net and its allso an transformer driver circuit to . so biuld from the circuits posted.

hello daza long time no hear. i to have the details to biuld the stirling engine to , you can use the counters from out of a cassette player i think as youll only need to modify it to turn a small wheel and run a band from it to the cassette counter , thats one idea , as for turning a generator get one thats easy to turn not to high in tourqe otherwise you would have to biuld it on a larger scale to be able to turn a generator, once youve modified it , use all the plastic cogs and shafts you can find from dismantled video recorders they would be of use and even the mbushes from the motors in some microwave ovens. to

;)use a small micro switch under the lid, you can find microswitches inside microwave ovens and all kinds of other electronics stuff

what are all the replacements for the D4OD5 power tab transistor
-
some of my inductors ive dismantled and there like a wheel with an iron shaft and at each end there is a disk or barrel shaped and there magnetic, i kept them in case i devle into the perpetual motion machine stuff
-
:) it looks abit like an inductor to me as the grey looking cover is like the ones on my inductors. hold a magnet to it and if it sticks, then you have an iron core inside that, and it would be an inductor , if it dosent stick it would be a capacitor , but unusual one for what i can see
-
transformers, ive got a big collection of them , and i use some in reverse mode , to step up the voltage , to get high voltage, testing the secondarys, i do this with a multimeter set to low ohms and if i get a reading then , ill know which pairs of outputs out of 4 wires are paired together , now i think that if they work in reverse mode , you could assume they then work in forward mode ,

:)dazza im suprised the top floor up stairs here hasent collapsed down onto the ground floor with the wieght of tons of electronics parts ive got upstairs , do you need any parts, its allso the main bedroom upstairs to so i dont have far to go when i get out of bed if i have any brain storm ideas to write down , my hydrogen generator still on hold pending on more ideas in the pipeline ,

search the forums youll find ic testers ive made ,the circuits are there even the logic ic tester to , any circuit that has blinking leds, and that use the most pins of a logic ic can be conciderd a tester in its own rights
-
thanks alun ill check this out

:)you may find those thermal switches in microwave ovens helpfull these switch on or off, and circuit you use it in just apply the heat of a cigarrette lighter to the metal face of the thermal switch then listen for the click as it switches off the circuit or on.

:)the 3 prongs plug on the tv if you wonder what that lonely looking prong is it is the earth prong, in the case of a short or hv wire comeing off inside , then the hv will be grounded through that earth prong

:)dazza read my posts seeking parabolic mike circuit or other posts relateing to it theres a simple circuit that can hear heart beats to, in fact audio guru was very helpfull in helping me to increase the gain for it this may help you with what you seek

dpdt switch - pinouts and how its used
steven replied to douggarvin's topic in Datasheet/Parts requests
:)go to the high voltage stuff section page 3 click on 12 volts led power input indicator you will see circuit details for this circuit includeing the details of useing these switches -
the 9 volts battery operated version of getting the exsplosive rocket feul mixture from water , that ive posted from the net looks a bit slow especially with a 9 volts battery so try 12 volts and change the electrodes to the diode version i used in one of my postings in the playing with hydrogen , topic and use some salt to get it going faster. as for sparks just use a push button pezio electric ignitor or a few batteries and a transformer used in reverse and a push button

dont know much about the soft ware stuff for testing ics when ive biult them allready from parts, even the 7400 ic tester

and if you accidently tare your speaker in the proccess you can repair that tare with clear nail polish , this will allso help in reduce excess vibration of the outer edges of the speaker cone if it obsorbs to much mioster. by painting the clear nail polish around the edges, it will dry and stiffen it abit

;)look at the free energy sites on the internet, you will find plenty information to help you , or view the alternatve plans site ,
