  1. :)heres another one for scr testing i found on the net
  2. apart from the tl072 other comparables are the ,lf353 ,lm833, 1458, ad712, lm358.
  3. read my posting on logic ic tester, somewhere in the forums it has 2 leds that alternate to indicate the logic ic to be working ok, this may help you with anything you seek

    I also need help

gerald if this download has anything to do with circuit drawing try down loadeing the free student version circuit maker. and ill show you some neat tricks to dress up your circuit draweings more better, ive redrawn thousands of circuits with it and the parts library is good and you can even draw intergrated circuits in the proper shape useing the trax drawing tool and even number the pins by use of the text then drag the numbers to the pin locations you can even do this with transisters to b for base and c for collecter and e for emmitter then drag the letters to the transister leg positions to
  5. there are sites with information on makeing capacitors, like the water capacitor, and party cup capacitor where you roll the foil around a phoam cup to make a capacitor, and you have leydon jars of which is like a capacitor to, you would find details on makeing capacitors in the high voltage tesla coil sites to
  6. :) suraj i see youve been reading my high voltage postings, go for it its there for all to share, 500kv spark would really barbercue it , then it will become disintergrated circuit information chart
  7. mike b ,good work when youve completed your testing id like to see the postings of yours when you upload them to electronics lab, it will be intresting to read and look at your pictures to
  8. :)hotwater wizard thanks, ive got an idea to get it done closer and clearer, ill have to do a section at a time , instead of trying to get the whole chart all in the one picture, ill try it latter.
  9. the multimetr wires are at the top for this latest high voltage resister devider blue for neg and brown for positive, i dident have any red or black wire left to do it the corect colours
  10. in thes latest pictures are one of my latest high voltage resister deviders, like the first high voltage resister devider, i carefully solderd 100 times 10 million ohms 1/4 watt resisters in sieries, i cut each resister leg to make it shorter then i counted them all to make sure theres 100 of them, then i rechecked the solder joints between each resister, then i coverd them all except the last resister, in black heatshring tubeing , then with a cigarette lighter i heated the heatshrink tubeing covering the resister chain, till its nice and tight, i used a shorter length of pvc pipe for the body, then i wrapped the , the high voltage resister chain, coverd in heatshrink , around the pvc pipe, i used super glue every few inchers to secure the resister chain in place, and i spaced the turns closer together , so as to make the setup more compact, then i used a few coats of varnish to give it all more insulation, then i made the pvc leg strutts for it, ive allso started a smaller one, but ran out of heatshrink tubeing so i used some left over larger diameter stuff but it dident shrink tight enougth so ill test this smaller one latter to see if i get any resister arcovers inside the resister chain
  11. mike b go to the topic by bakr chareging of capacitor in the high voltage stuff section just down from this one and in it youll find some circuit schematics of the electromagnetic coil gun i uploaded before, the electromagnetic gun launchers alliuminium rings, and youll find these handy the circuits and schematics are all there this is what you need this alliuminium ring launching gun is a real beauty
  12. mike b powerlabs has something like that coil guns rail guns stuff . the sight may be closed down , but you can fins information to biuld an electro magnetic launcher or nail shooter in electronics lab somewhere, if you like the idea of diagmagnetically repelling alliuminium from induction like those circuits i posted in the high voltage stuff section , you may like to check out the electromagnetic can cruahers if you havent allready did it these will help giude you :)
  13. :)mike b although ive never biult any coil gun or aliuminium launching electro magnetic launcher yet, your illiustration is like an electromagnet useing magnets instaed of ion but you need to design the core from iron and your windings need to be plenty like in the circuits i posted, at the top of this topic and after so many windings you have to tap into it then rewind more windings, ive seen a site before where objects are launched in the same or similiar way ill find it and let you know, meanwhile you may like to look at the can crusher sites , where alliuminium cans are crushed with the high voltage being dumped into a coil of coper wire wraped around a can and even an american quarter can be shrunken to a small size
  14. :)dazza ive posted the circuit for the microwave oven to the topic of emp i think it was if you cant find it ill redo it again for you ive dismantled microwave ovens and still got the magnetron and high voltage capacitor to. and transformer, there is a site showing the microwave oven details to
  15. :)mike b ive never biult these electromagnetic launchers from these schematics i posted, yet but the idea of diagmagnetically repelling alliuminium objects by induction is cool the coil gun if your useing a sieries of coils will need sensers in the design to switch on each coil as the object, being repeled goes through the coil , i geuss like timeing , as for the circuits i posted here you just need to wind that coil the way it says and these coils tap into each other after so many turns, and you dont need the timeing like circuitry to fire each sieries coil when the object enters it as the object sits over the core and the coil around the core energizes this alliuminium object or ring and then it shoots off , there is a site around about useing magnets for shooting objects but you need a sieries of magnets to use for it i used a coil from a car igntion coil, just one coil i removed the fine seconadry winding from the center, just push it out with your finger with the core them i was left with the thick primary still intact i sat a steel nail in it and with each end of the coil i had one end attached to a 12 volts battery not car type, and when i touched the other wire to the second terminal the nail shot out to a good distance , like i was a transister switching it on and off and the speed i did it , the nail dident get sucked back in like an electromagnet it just went through and shot out, not bad for a bit of manual timeing by touching wire to battery terminal

  17. in the topic of generators i was able to charge a parralell stack of 16x 630 volts capacitors really good from the high voltage multiplier circuit powerd from ma microwave oven motor generater, the capacitors were charge via a 1m resister from the high voltage multiplier circuit, but when i increased the parralell capacitor stack to 20. i should of increased the feeder resister to higher than 1m as i blew the capacitors, but with the right voltage limiting useing a flyback transformer output, may be a good idea to try in chargeing them caps up faster to , . with the microwave oven motor / generater i would only have to rotate it half way backwards and forwards a few times, then touch the 2 output wires from the capacitor stack output, together, like touching a screw driver to the terminals of a high voltage photo flash capacitor, when charged then i get a big pop .
  18. ive uloaded good circuit schematics that all seem to use high voltage capacitor charger circuits in them to bakr s topic chargeing of a capacitor, thats the best i can do to help him, i hoped he would find new ideas in them to help him in chargeing of a high voltage capacitor more faster, my exsperiments before that relate to high voltage capacitor chargeing was with the photo flash units of cameras but i got stuck on it due to lack of info i can find on the transister the d975 and d965, the substituites for these if theres any , so my exsperiments was limited , but in the circuit of an ignition coil driver circuit i have biult so many of, the author gives some details on it being used as a capacitor charger but fails to add the circuit modifications to do that with , so untill i start more exsperiments with it pending on the availiability of better hv caps ill just hang in there till i get there then ill upload it for bakr
  19. nicely put audio guru ive got plenty high voltage circuits here but the high voltage capacitor chargeinging circuit useing a flyback transformer is something that intrests me to, but like bakr likes is to charge a cap faster, and i like to try it to but i dont have higher voltage caps to try it with, but got plenty photo flash caps to play with , this reminds me of the photo flash cap sharger circuits in cameras the unidentified diode i changed to a uf4007 and it changed the frenquency of it well you can hear that sound changeing like its speeding up i think, i have a untested prototype circuit different than bakr s but havent tried it out yet
