  1. Hello! I'm working on a project, actully i have a current rransformer having out put voltage 0-5A and some one told me as i dont have its data sheet that the voltage accross its two wire is 2 Volts, basically i want to display this current on my pc, i have done all work like i interfaced ADC with microcontroller and communicate microcontroller with PC, but i dont know how tou use this CT, i have adopted many ways as i am only working on its documentations, i have made a series circuit of two resistor and i measured coltage accross one of them then this AC voltage passes from transformer then will rectify it finally i thought that i will get the result.. but i'm not sure about it, so you ppls like to help me in this project i am you sending its block/schematic diagram, so i'm inviting you all the ppls who have done this project or doing it, thanks!!! for rwading my POST will wait for your reply..

  2. and this is the 89C51's program which i have written and i am sure the programis absolutely right and the hardware is also right! the problem is that the ICL7109 is damaged  >:( cuz when i was setting refrence voltages from pin 39 and pin 36, by mistake the pins 39 and 40 were shorted out by multimeter's probe, and due to this the ICL7109 was heated a little but i am not sure where is the problem  ??? ???

  3. Yeaaa i have also done this!... i applied no voltage at input & by giving LOW pulse at LBEN it tied all pins HIGH from B0 t0 B7..

    This means, there is no effect of any input..

    Ok right now the problem is this..


    When i give Low pulse at LBEN which is low enable it tied all output pins from B0-B7 High
    And When i give Low pulse at HBEN which is low enable it tied all output pins from B8-B12 High, Yesss it exectly means there is no effect of any input! now wot u say?

  4. I have seen many Application Sheet, just tell me wot does it mean? ICL7109, 12-bit dual-slope converter,  +/- 400.0mV 0.1mV resolution, ~12.5 conversions/s wot does  +/- 400 mV means and 0.1mV resolution, does it mean you can apply +/-400 mV input signal only? and the step size is 0.1mV or what else? will wait for ur replies of all u peoples.

  5. I am using ICL7109 in a project, but it is not working when ever i give low pulse to LBEN or HBEN it do not convert analog data into digital but it converts all data output bits high i dont know whats going there with it, i think it is damaged can u tell me wot can happned wit it?

Ohh you guys i just wana convert this ordinary camera into night vision by using simple IR LEDs, totay i placed 24 LEDs in paralle; fashion and gave 9 Volts when ever the light falls it detected by my digital camera but the problem is this the visible object should be not away more then 1 feet and i wana view object which is near about  10 feets away, that is what i want!

  7. Hello Guys! how are you All?..
    I'm very thankfull to you that you post on my topic od PT100, now i hve another project, I want to make my ordinary camera into night vision! I have a little knowledge about it that how to convert into night vision..
    Okie first thing is that only Infrared can see by the camera not visible by our eyes, you can do it by your self just pleace an infrared LED behind camera and power it up you can crearly see the glowed light! Another thing is this if you make a bunch of LEDs and place accross the camera lense the infrared LEDs Eimt light and you can easily see any object in night, but the problem is this you cant see any object which is far from the Camera for this i made 12 transmitter bunch but the range is just 1 feet almost but i want it to 10 feet i bought Infrared the shopkeeper said its range is 10 feets but i dont know what is happing with it! Just tell me how to increase the lengh of transmitted signal i applied 7 volts to the IR TX if i will apply more then 7 then it became hot and can be damaged..   8. Hello Buddies!
    I've made a project which get data from temprature sensor from LM35 (ratings 10mV with the increment of 1 degress celcius) having voltage output then convert this analog data in digital by using ADC0804 then by using microcontroller 89C51 i phussed it to the serial port.
    Now i wana get temprature from PT100 which is a temprature controlled resistor (rating 100 Ohms at 0 Degree Celcius and 0.3846 Ohms/degree). i've made a voltage divider circuit and place a constant current source, now what is happing in calculation and in practice lets suppose the voltage at 34 degree Celcius is 1.1254 and the voltage is at 36 degree ceicius is 1.1258 this means the step voltage is of 4 mili Amps now tell me how can i increase this 4 milli upto 20 mili or 10 mili, so i can sense it through ADC, if any one have any knowledge about it then please help me!
