adewaledipo Posted August 14, 2003 Report Posted August 14, 2003 i have been working on this project but the problem is that the solar panel i have is just 500mA and it does not carry any load due to the insufficient amperes Quote
AVRFreakMan Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 If you want to raise the voltage to 110V AC or worse to 230V AC, you will -for sure- be out of current(depending of the voltage output of your panel). You have to connect many panels together to achieve your goal. But it should not be a simple connection :-\Kyriakos Quote
manuel.adrian Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 hii've want to build a 1.5kw-2kw dc-ac inverter for our project, may i ask one of the schematics that you have? Quote

MP Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 How real it is to power this much from a solar panel is dependent solely upon (1) how many panels you have (Panels are usually rated by Watt)(2) how much backup power you have (batteries) (3) how much sun is in the region you live in. (closer to the equator is better)#3 is the biggest problem in most cases and many system designs will add a safety factor such as added wind generator for those occasions when the sun is not out. These also seem to be the best days to count on the wind to blow.MP Quote
