LED Flashlight

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used one of these Lightwave 4000 flashlights?

http://www.lightwave-4000.com/

It uses 10 LED's and they go for about $35 U.S. on eBay. Are they as good as they sound?

Maybe it would be interesting to convert the head of a conventional bulb flashlight to one of these LED types.

Can anyone tell me what additional circuitry would be required and a particular brand/model of LED that would work well?

Hhhmmm. Maybe use red (for astronomy) and white LED's with a switch to choose the color.

Thanks.

That's a good idea converting a bulb flash light to a led one. It will become a power saving device with the same efficiency.

If you visit:

you will find many interesting led flashlight projects.
