MP Posted May 11, 2004 Report Share Posted May 11, 2004 In case this will help anyone:The standard "Windows Paint" program found in "accessories" will convert files. When you open a file in the program, you can "Save As" a different type. If you use "attributes" you can change the size of the file. If you are using Adobe Acrobat 6 to read pdf files, you have the option of capturing a picture to the clip board. Once you do this, go to "Paint" and click on "Paste". The selection will appear there. You can then save it as bmp, jpg, jpeg, gif, tiff and some others.I have other graphic converters, but these methods work pretty fast for me. I didn't have Paint installed, but I do now.Now I can scratch-out simple schematics quicker than Eagle.I just now converted a 4MB BMP schematic to a 240KB JPG and they look the same.
