Led Strobe Circuit

Hi again, New,
Although I wouldn't call an ordinary LED a "strobe" light, I have built projects using ultra-bright LEDs that were powered with 100mA current pulses, and the resulting flashes of light were dazzling, blinding and could be seen for miles.
Have you seen the "Dancing LEDs" circuit in our projects section? It flashes a sequence of LEDs with control by a microphone or music source. A low frequency oscillator can control the sequence if you wish, instead of the microphone.
The circuit has an option to power up to 10 strings of 5 LEDs each, which is exactly the 50 that you need. Instead of the LEDs being in sequence, you can make any pattern that you want. It uses the 4017 IC that you are now familiar with.
