audioguru
Hi Yev,Seven pins is a lot for a microphone that needs only 2 or 3.Maybe it is a stereo mic, so it has 2 mics in 1 housing.Does it have a press-to-talk switch? An ohm-meter would tell you which pins are the switch contacts.Maybe it has a built-in camera, recorder and/or alcohol (or bad breath?) detector. ;D Who knows? You also need to know its output level, depending on whether it is dynamic, electret or crystal. Electret and condenser types need to be powered, the others don't and shouldn't be.
