Dazza
I was wondering if anyone was using a PC oscilloscope. And if they really have any practical use in electronics . What would be the best set up to use, to be the most useful.
Vedran
Hey!i once saw shematics for oscilloscope which has many led diodes used like display it was sooo cool and i can't find that shematics anywhere now! Does somebody maybe have it??I think PC oscilloscope is too senstive and if you are afraid for your motherboard not recomended for serious use! That is just my opinion...Vedran :D
Kevin Weddle
It seems the only thing to a PC oscilloscope is the display. Else, the electronics hardware is the important part.
Vedran
Ofcourse hardware is very important. Is there a way to build your own hobby oscilloscope cheap like one with LEDs i mentioned?Vedran ;D
surajbarkale
Here is a possible recepie, You will need a really fast ADC to sample the input waveforms then a fast SRAM or FIFO to store the captured samples & a microcontroller to transfer the captured data to PC. On PC you can process the waveform (fourier, rms, peak, avg, freq, etc.).
