only_lonely Posted September 26, 2004 Report Share Posted September 26, 2004 i use eagle to draw my schematic(SOIC to DIL socket 8pins)the chip holder now i have is a normal 8pins holder...for the ic chip(74xx).i want to do like thisi create a schematic..edit>add>atmel>attiny15L>then i add another one IC package DIL-8(i don't wats different between DIL8 and DIL8S)...am i right?then i just connect the pin1 of ATTINY to pin1 of DIL8....is it?THANKS for your help!! MP Posted September 26, 2004 Report Share Posted September 26, 2004 That is correct. The only differences I can see in those two IC packages is the silk screen on the component side. only_lonely Posted September 27, 2004 Author Report Share Posted September 27, 2004 i connect all the pins already.then i click to make the schematic into board.the then i click autoroute,i received the result..all 0.00%.the board look does't change after autoroute.but i want the length of the pins are equally.like the 123.jpg image i post.if i just use the tools(wire)to connect it,all the connection are different.how to make it nice look??what is the following step i can do??i want to print it on transparency and fabbricate it. MP Posted September 30, 2004 Report Share Posted September 30, 2004 If you are wanting to place the surface mount chip inside the through hole chip, it will take a multi-layer board to do so. The pins are too close to run enough traces in between them.
