MP Posted October 3, 2004 Report Share Posted October 3, 2004 I use F09HP, which is a female DB9 sitting on the board hoizontal. You can also use F09HPS which is the same connector but with a different schematic symbol. The F09VP or F09VPS will sit on the board pointing straight up if this is the style of connector you want to use.If you will be using a male connector, you will want to use the M09 versions or the pin-out will be backwards when you connect it to another device. Many do not take this into consideration.
