Shahriar Posted November 10, 2004 Report Share Posted November 10, 2004 Hihas anybody think about a device which can write something on TV.For example, imagin in an election you want to show the number ofvotes for each condidate on a large TV so that every body can see it in a large hall. for example we send the video signal through the RCA Jack or connect it to somewhere in TV chasis.Any help is appreciated in advance... IanP Posted November 10, 2004 Report Share Posted November 10, 2004 There are hundreds of IC available on the market to write text on live video signal or to generate background and superimpose text on this background.Most of these IC are used in TV sets to display channel number etc and in handycams (time & date, counter etc.)Go to Google and type for example STV5730.. This one, I think, was described in 1999 in Elector Electronics, or was it Silico Chip, I don't remember..Another example may be uPD6145.
