OK so -
if its got 2 connecters seperate on one edge its probubly 100Vac.

All refs i find conform to this no matter how many pins in the main strip. The one in that doc has 2 additional grounded pins.
I have a 15 pin 4X20lcd that knowone has pinouts for so i assume the 15th pin is the second enable pin for the lower have of the display.
I still dont know waht pins are what except for pin 1 which is alwas got the thickest track and is ground.

oh and i shoved 12v up a 5vpower line and anothe display stillworks. Now i know its 5v not 12 (ill be bugged if i know where 12 came from) the contrast now works.
