jit_singh_tara
hi there can anyone help me in designing robotic arm.wat are diff types ofmotors or assembly required.?
GreekPIC
You could use R/C servomotors. What are the arms specs? Range of motion, dimensions, what will it do, will it carry weight etc? If you come to a basic plan of what you want it will be easier to decide what kind of motor fits best.

helio905
You can use most gear parts out of junked vcr's as your source of motion. Then just build your arm as you go along. Use flip flop cir. for motion control.
helio905
Got to thinking about it a little more. I use alltread alot. You fix the nut whereit cannot move and use a motor to turn the allthread. This makes motionallot easier to control becuse the speed is not as fast. Plus you get alotmore lifting power.
