tvdbon
I've got a Input/Output board that is connected to my pc for a project I'm working on. What I want to do is to connect a LDR (light dependent resistor) to one of the analogue inputs. I'm guessing I can't just connect a ldr and a 12v power supply together and run it to the analogue input on the io board. Any ideas ? The circuit should make use of a 12 volt powersupply. ??? EdwardM
Hi tvdbonone way is to connect the 12v supply, a resistor and the LDR, and use the voltage developed across the LDR as the analogue input. You should be able to find an datasheet/application note on the web and from that derive the necessary resistor value.Best of LuckEd
tvdbon
Can it really be that simple? I'll play around with it and see what I can get. Thanks for the idea. If anybody have any other ideas then please feel free to let me know. Thanks !
