GreekPIC Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 I have a zipped project (can't remember where I found it) with the boards in *.pcb format. Which program opens them? Any way I can import them into Eagle?Nikolas Quote
trigger Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Try to use a text editor to open it first and check the header see if the file belongs to which program. Quote
MP Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 Many software packages use this extension. I have several in my archives that I made on various programs. I have to try opening them in one program after the other until I find the one which will deliver a board layout. Thanks for the tip Trigger. I will try that the next time I run into this problem.MP Quote
GreekPIC Posted July 8, 2005 Author Report Posted July 8, 2005 Trigger the header writes:PCB FILE 9 VERSION 2.70I found the site where I downloaded it from and in other projects this guy says he used Protel. So I guess it might be the same.Is there any free demo of Protel? Thanks, Nikolas Quote
