Skeith Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 I need an audio transformer for a Push pull 6V6 14watt tube amp I have built. The impedance on the secondary needs to be 8 ohms, while the impedance on the primary isn't stated on the schematic. from the look of it i probably need something between 2K ohms and 4K ohms center tapped. I cant find a sutable transformer for this. I was wondering if I could rewind a power transformer or something. Or if there is some other way I can get a matched impedance for the speaker.thanks.
