Guest Alun Posted August 9, 2005 Report Share Posted August 9, 2005 Electronics is fairly low powerd non-power supply type circuits, examples include audio amplifiers, radios, computers, small low voltage power supplies.Electrical is power distribution and high power systems, examples include UPSs the mains power distribution system (national grid) large motor controll systems large transformers, generators.Normally nowadays a knowledge of both areas is required in most jobs, for example a large UPS uses small electronic controll circuits and a large battery, transformer and electrical protection system on the output. I've studied mostly electronics, followed by electrical and then mechanical subjects, all of them have been relevant to lots of the jobs I've done.
