ardeo
Hi everybody... I'm new here, and looking for some help with something that I think is pretty simple, but I'm not sure.Basically, I need to use a piezo electric transducer as a momentary switch in order to control a drum-sampling program. I have no trouble making the program, and can control it fine with regular toggle switches (joystick buttons, keyboard presses, etc.), but in order for it to be useful, I need instead to create a switch using a simple piezoelectric transducer. Any thoughts?Since the normal operation of a momentary switch actually breaks the circuit, that's where I'm stuck. with a p.e.t., the circuit will never be broken-- instead, i'll generate a very small voltage off of the transducer and need that voltage to make the switch trigger...I hope that's enough of an explanation... Please let me know if you have any suggestions!thanks,Roland
