eee-tee
Firstly, appologies if this is in the wrong board, but I was hoping someone could advise me:I have an electrical item, only a simple/ small thing, and after unscrewing the cover, after hearing a 'rattle' i see that a small corner of the circuit board has broken off.Unfortunately its proving difficult to replace the item in qurstion, so my question is, would it be possible to repair the said fault, or is it beyond repair? ante
Hi ET,1. I would puzzle all the crumbs back together with superglue.2. Scrape off the varnish on the copper stripes.3. Solder small bridges over the broken copper stripes.4. Carefully inspect the job before testing it!Keep my fingers crossed ;)
felto
instead of doind all that why dont you just runjumper wires to whatever part of the circuit it was hooked up to. In other words where it was broken off just take the wires and solder them into the traceswhere they were connected or find a junction point andsolder it there.
