sinn
Hi,im looking to design a fan that kicks in when my engine reaches approx 260F, and switches off when the temperature is lowered to approx 240F. Are there any circuits that you guys know of?? I would be using a laptop fan of 5V / 0.16A.Thanks ;D
prateeksikka
what is the harm in keeping the fan on all the times?
sinn
The engine will run too cool. It needs to stay between 240-260F for optimum operation.Thanks.
audioguru
I don't think that a little 0.8W fan will cool the engine enough. A model airplane has the propeller and movement through the air blowing on the engine to cool it and the power of the airflow is much more than possible from a little 0.8W fan.
