pearlyred Posted April 30, 2006 Report Share Posted April 30, 2006 I think the indicator relay on my car is playing up as the flashing keeps pausing/stopping and all the bulbs are working.Have pulled the relay out, just wondering if there's any way i can test things or fix it?Does anyone know much about these? i can see a small IC on there, which I assume must be a timer, but i dont really have a clue. windoze killa Posted May 15, 2006 Report Share Posted May 15, 2006 I woukld be looking for a dry joint or a cracked joint. If it has an IC it is probably a solid state device so there is probably no relay and would be working from an SCR or other switching device.
