How to derive ohms law

Recommended Posts

indeed u can derive ohms law.

it comes basically from charge carriers and mobility definition.

mobility =speed/Electric field..
speed =distance /time and field = Electric field / distance
hence derived .name the constant as R
moreover ur definition of law is not correct.it does not say V=IR but indeed it says
V / I =Constant ....

HI prateek!

thanks for the explaination but there is something confusing in ur explaination.

U said that field=electric field/distance

what is the difference between Field and Electric Field??

and then how can u derive the constant R from the above stated three formulae??

please explain it again and this time in some more detail.

thanks in advance!

take carez!
