hustla7
hi all! i'm new to this forum and this is my first post (so be nice) lol. I'm quite new to electronic circuit designing and i am currently studying the subject for GCSE. I am doing a coursework for which i need to design an overheating alarm for a PC. It must be quite simple and needs to involve a 555 timer. I would like a circuit which would oscillate a buzzer when the temperature goes over about 45 degrees celsius. It would be good to have a capacitor, a few resistors, a op amp or transistor/darlington pair in it. Any ideas please...thanx a lot! ??? audioguru
Have you thought about these simple steps:1) Select a temperature sensor IC or make your own with a thermistor and an opamp.2) Make an audio oscillator/speaker driver from a 555 IC and a couple of transistors.3) Make the 1st circuit turn on the 2nd circuit. MP
Hustla,Welcome to the forum! There is a circuit in the projects section of this site that might get you started, or at least, give you ideas on your own design. You can access the projects on this site with the blue link at the top of the page titled "Projects".Hope this helps get you started.MP
Nancesar
I understand that the topic is quite outdated, but for me, it is now very, very important. 😔 It would be very interesting for me to know how the results of your course work are because for me it is very interesting and useful now. Because of this topic, I need to write an APA research paper and I understand that I can't do it. My friends also recommended the service to me https://papersowl.com/buy-apa-research-paper and I heard a lot of good reviews about them, so I'll probably try their services because they have proven themselves as true professionals.
